The house was built in 2014 by Plantation Building Corp and has a variety of unique finishes and creative touches. Everything in the house is a friendly surprise.
The ceilings are curved, the floors are raw concrete, and the kitchen counters are also concrete.
In the living room, not only is one of the walls stunningly flanked with reclaimed barn wood from the area, but the stairs are also made of pieces of reclaimed wood put together.
The home feels light and airy, and capitalizes on the approximately one acre it sits on to combine indoor and outdoor living. Walls of windows look out over a wild landscape, brimming with nature. Out in the property sits a large fire pit, perfect for gathering friends around for a night of laughter and, of course, ‘smores.
There is an outdoor fireplace with a TV mounted above and a wrap around porch.
The Hamiltons take use of all of the 3,800 sq feet well, running their business from their home (although they admit they haven’t yet taken use of the rock climbing wall in the garage).
They have fallen in love with the house, and Leland, and can’t believe how lucky they were to have found this home, one that seems naturally creative.
Leland and North Brunswick County are filled with beautiful homes of all budgets, sizes, and styles. Hidden across the diverse area are unique homes we get to share with you. Have a home we should feature? Email Allison at firstname.lastname@example.org.
