Gumdrops & Lollipops

When you walk into Gumdrops & Lollipops, you are instantly transported into a traditional children’s clothing boutique, where girls wear beautiful smocked sundresses in pink and boys wear jumpers in blue.
Gumdrops & Lollipops is owner Brandi Milam’s modern-day translation of the traditional heirloom clothing of yesterday mixed with current designs. Located in Leland’s Harris Teeter Shopping Center, Gumdrops & Lollipops is the place to shop for children’s fashion.
Milam’s entrepreneurial inspiration was born out of the desire to dress her daughter, Gracie, in girly, adorable smocked sundresses and jumpers. Milam sought to fill a need in Brunswick County by opening her own boutique where mothers shop for designer clothing while their children play. Milam creates an inviting environment with vivid colors and artwork from wall to wall.
“What sets Gumdrops & Lollipops apart from other boutiques is our customer service. Our customers are our extended family,” says Milam. She keeps photos of her customers children on a board in the back of the store.
Gumdrops & Lollipops carries clothing for infants up to size 10 in girls and up to size 7 in boys. Milam takes care to supply the store with multiple designer brands, including Kissy Kissy, Funtasia Too, Amanda Remembered and Bailey Boys. Parents and grandparents can dress their little ones from head to toe in designer shoes and accessories.
In addition to affordable, high-end children’s fashion, Milam stocks her shelves with a wide range of Melissa & Doug educational toys and an assortment of gifts and accessories. Gumdrops & Lollipops is your one-stop shop to keep your children looking boutique chic while managing your wallet.
