New Carolina Chiropractic: Chiropractic Healthcare – Not Just for Injury or Illness
By Michelle Macken

“You wouldn’t keep h your teeth unbrushed for months or years and expect healthy teeth, would you? How much more important is the spine … it protects the nerves that control the whole body, affects all the joints of the body and is the center of our functional daily activity.”

That’s Dr. Steve Maniscalco talking. Dr. Steve opened New Carolina Chiropractic, a state-of-the-art chiropractic office in North Brunswick County, three years ago. His education, including a master’s degree and a doctorate, prepared him to be more than the average doctor, and his practice is thriving.

You’ve probably seen Dr. Steve and his incredibly friendly staff around town at one of the local events, handing out goodies or sponsoring a lunch for a group of neighbors.

“A cohesive relationship with the town is good business and good manners,” says Dr. Steve. “I appreciate the trust I’m given and Ieven enjoy being Santa Claus sometimes.”

Over the past three years the amount of support New Carolina Chiropractic has given back to the community with school and organizational sponsorships, not to mention the amount of services he “provides extra” for his patients, has made his practice truly a gem in North Brunswick County.

“I believe I am honoring my parents and following my calling,” say Dr. Steve. “That’s the litmus test.”

New Carolina Chiropractic offers computer-generated evaluations, muscular rehab, spinal disc decompression, cold laser treatments and, of course, the traditional, albeit modern, chiropractic adjustment tables. Dr. Steve works like an Olympic trainer with his know-how and skilled hands.

“Chiropractic is different from practitioner to practitioner,” he says. “I believe I have elevated the profession with my work and my office — that’s my gift back to the profession that changed my life.”

The passion Dr. Steve has is obvious. The economy has been tough and Dr. Steve has spared no expense keeping his office top notch and giving back to the community. He hasn’t let the rough times slow him down.

New Carolina Chiropractic does not charge for initial consultations, and most people can be treated the same day.New Carolina Chiropractic, Logan Homes Building between Waterford & Magnolia Greens; (910) 371-6073; www.newcarolinachiropractic.com
